Ever since Donovan was born mid December, I knew that our Holidays/month of December was going to be crazy! Well add sickness's and a newborn into that mix and things have gotten OUT OF CONTROL!! Fun but very busy! I am not going to blog by activity, I am blogging about the month! Birthday party, decorating for x-mas, stomach flu, another trip to the ER with Ryann with a high fever, back to work for me, visitors for christmas we are happy to announce at this moment, we are healthy, happy and feel very blessed for a great 2011! Now on to 2012, i think will be an exciting year for the Marcos!!! Happy New year to you all!

8 weeks old

I can't believe that my baby girl is 8 weeks old. I can't believe how fast it has gone! This is a challenging time for any mom having a newborn, but I think it is necessary to go through because you learn to enjoy even the difficult times. She has been a really good baby, but has her gassy issues, which makes evening sometimes difficult. I can't believe I go back to work next week. Sad momma here! Much more difficult to go back this time around, because now she will really start growing up fast, I would like to just freeze some moments in time and this would be one of them.
For those of you who don't know over Thanksgiving our baby had a fever which in turn resulted to a trip to the ER, she had elevated white blood cell count and needed a spinal tap to rule out meningitis, a catheter was put in to rule out a urinary tract infection, and a nose swab to rule out the flu and rsv. I didn't know it was so serious, but when itty bitty's have fevers it is pretty serious and all precautionary measures are taken. We ended up having to spend the night at children's hospital in madison. Scary stuff. It was a virus that this girl's immune system was trying to fight off. With pink eye the week before then getting a wonderful cold virus her immune system was working overtime, not to name any names but I think her brother had something to do with it. She has improved and is back to her normal self. Having going through that really puts things into perspective. Having health, and a loving family is really all that matters in life.
More updates next week, after my other baby turns three.......can you hear me crying??!?! My babies are growing up too fast....slow down!!!!!!!

Tim's sister and her husband came to visit this weekend and brought their adorable puppy Hank. He is a great dane and full of cuteness!!! He was a very good puppy and let Donovan play on him!! He is going to be a great big brother!!!

My mom came last Sunday night and stayed for the week. It was so nice having her, and she helped out tremendously with Donovan and Ryann! I even got a few naps in! Thanks mom!

Then my girlfriends from Minnesota and Chicago came and met Ryann and kept Donovan busy, he has asked me if my friends are here when he gets up in the morning and from naps! I think we have got a heartbreaker in our future! They took me out to dinner and it was so nice to have them here! Thanks girls for making the trip!

We are so lucky to have all these great women in my life! Thanks for all you do!

An introduction to our newest addition Ryann Marie Marco

Ryann was born, October 7th, 4:19 pm, 6 lbs 15 oz, 20 in of pure sweetness!

I had an appointment on Friday to see my doctor. Previous appointments I was already dialated to a 3-4cm (those of you who don't know) you start pushing at 10 cm. So I was well on my way. My dr asked me if I wanted her to do the "good" check or the normal check I will save you the details, but of course I said the good check and then she said "well there goes your water, you will now go into labor" I was so excited! She said go get your stuff and head to the hospital. So I called Tim and he called his mom to make her way down to milwaukee to watch D. OUr wonderful neighbors took him in the mean time and we got to the hospital about 1:00. I said immediately I want an epidural, and told them that I went pretty fast with my son so there was no time to waste. He was on his way to give another epidural so I would be second in line. At about 1:45 the contractions were getting more and more painful and I was at a 5. By the time the dr. came in I was in much more pain and contractions were getting worse. I was then at a 7. He administered the epidural and slowly the pain lessened. About an hour later I called the nurse in because I was still feeling a lot of pressure in my buttom and I thought I need more medication. She said let me check you, you may be ready to push. And yup 3:45, I was at a 10 and ready to push. My dr came in about 4:00 and scrubbed up, I pushed twice and there she was! It was so smooth. 4:30 Tim and I looked at eachother and were like "what the hell just happened?" It was so fast!

Our Ryann so far is such a great baby, easy, and going from 1 to 2 kids was WAY easier for me then going from 0-1. (I am aware there is still plenty of time for the "**** to hit the fan" but so far so good. Donovan is absolutly in love with his sister, wants to hug, kiss, be by her all the time. It is so adorable! We need to work on the amount of pressure we are applying during hugs and kisses but it is a work in progress. We are so blessed to have everything to have gone so smoothly and have this princess in our lives! We couldn't be more in love!

I can't believe how fast this time has went, well the first weeks were long, but since 12 weeks, it has just flown by! It is amazing how this time around, you don't have time to just focus on the pregnancy, you (well at least we) have a 2 year old to laugh at, discipline, and keep up with. Which he has kept us busy doing all three! I can't wait to see Donovan as a big brother, I think he will fit in the role perfectly and be very protective (after he realizes that she is here to stay which may be many months from now!!!) Since you asked.....I am feeling the pregnancy effects now, my feet hurt, my joints in my hands hurt (weird) and of course my back and heartburn. I can't say I didn't know this all was coming! We are ready to meet our girl! I haven't quite excepted the fact that this baby may not make an early appearance like Donovan did so here's to hoping that she comes when she is ready and she is ready early!! So I went back and forth before we found out what we were having if we were going to redo the baby's room. Of course I told Tim that the bedding we bought for Donovan could go either way boy or girl. Until we found out we were having a girl, then all of that was out the window, what if this was my only girl!?! We are goin' girly!!! I kept the paint color, my one favor to Tim, but just added some pink, fuchia, and peach! I love it! I didn't buy any bedding, I just kind of went off colors that I like and I think of when I think GIRL!!!

Above the crib isn't quite done, I plan on sticking in her initials in between each of the circles hanging from the same fabric that is in the circles

My grandpa made this chair for me when I was little, it was brown, for Donovan it was white and for princess Marco it is peach! It will hopefully last through all of my kids jumping off of it!!!

Love this corner, I bought this pink table at a rummage sale where I work and Tim painted it pink and the drawers orange! I just love it!

In 7 weeks or less a baby girl and me will be spending many nights in this room!! It is like I completely forgot what is going to be like to have a newborn (for good reason I think) Sleep deprived, running on coffee, I will be a mother of two! Donovan has brought so much joy and laughter into our everyday that I can't wait to see what this one has in store!

Angi, the kids, Michelle, Mason, the girls, grandma, dietz, krissy and Mackey were all in our 2000 sq foot house this weekend! It was a blast, it was loud, chaotic, and I am shocked we didn't get a noise complaint!! It was so much fun to see all the kids play together! Here are some pics from our weekend in Dallas! My mom came to watch Donovan while we had an all adults weekend! IT was a lot of fun! None of us were in the wedding, so we got to relax, sleep in, eat plenty and some of us (tim) had nights of partying! Last weekend we went to Madison for the 4th, Tim went on our annual camping trip, Michelle and I the two preggers made our appearance Saturday night, but were relieved when we were in a bed and air conditioned by 12:30. Darcy's parents and their crazy friends and relatives invited us milwaukeeians to the Twins/Brewers game this last weekend! What a blast! Best seats in the house along third base line front row, I mean I could pretty much see the dimples in the players butts!!!! I told Tim I wasn't going to another baseball game again unless we have seats like that, I mean I actually had a really good time....watching baseball! I know, it was that amazing!! Got to catch up with Darcy and Marissa, I swear every single time I hang out with my friends from MN, it makes me want to move back even more!!! Traveled to Ohio this weekend to probably the most beautiful wedding I had ever been to! Every single detail was stunning, this pictures don't even do it justice. This wedding was on Lesley (brides) family's property, with their own private lake, stunning house, it was all just gorgeous!!! Loved the colors, blueberry and limeish green! the weather held out and it was perfect!!!

We headed out west last week, to warmer weather, relaxation and disney land.....so we thought! We got the warm weather and we got the relaxation, but Donovan had a high fever for 2 out of the 5 days which put a damper on disney land...maybe next year! We had a great time Donovan was a little clingy because he was sick, but had a great time with my parents! Tim and I were even able to go out to eat together...alone...no rush! It was very nice! Donovan had a blast with Zoe (the pup)...chasing after her!

We did have one great day in Santa Monica, which was fun, he was worn out though after a couple of hours, so it was a good thing thing that we didn't make the trip to see Mickey. Besides he loved this car until we turned it on and it started moving. Maybe waiting until next year will be worth the $90 ticket!!!

Big Boy Room!

Donovan transitioned to a big boy bed last weekend!!! He did so great!!! Cried a little bit when we left him in there for about a minute then went to sleep! Woke up in the middle of the night one time crying (I thought he fell out of bed) so I ran in there and laid in there with him. He wasn't falling back asleep because he kept staring at me I think in shock that mommy was laying in his bed with him. So after about 20 minutes I went back in our room and not a peep out of him! Second night even better, no crying and went right to sleep! So proud of my all star!!!! I have to say we are so blessed to have a good sleeper and I truly think this transition was made easier because at daycare he has been sleeping in a cot since he was 2! We are proud of you D!!! Here are some pics. Keep in mind it is almost impossible to find toddler boys queen size bedding, so this will have to do!

I hope this baby of mine always knows that no matter how big he gets, he will always be my baby!!!

We hope everyone had a good Easter! Our's was quiet but nice!! Tim's parents came to stay with us over the weekend. We did an Easter egg hunt (in which I realized my camera was out of batteries) then looked for Easter basket and then went out to brunch, in which we made it through the whole meal without Donovan saying "go home" which I would chalk up to a major success!!! He was playing under the table, driving his cars all over the both and behind Tim and I and eating nothing but whatever had chocolate on it!! It was fun! Here are some pictures from that day. This Friday Donovan and I spent the day with Parker and Darcy. Parker man wasn't feeling very good, which worked in Donovan's benefit, made it easier to take toys away and not share. Last weekend Tim and I headed up to Minnesota to surprise a friend on her 30th, it was successful!!!! She had no idea! The following day my friends surprised me as well... successful once again! Not only did I get to spend the best weekend ever with my girls and their husbands, but I got to see their most adorable little babies!!! Got some cuddle time in with those who would let me!!! Thanks girls and guys for the best ever!!!

So, I was sitting on the couch and Donovan kept say something "outs" something "outs" and like any mom, I was like "ok honey" "really" in a high pitch voice not having any idea what he was talking about. He kep doing it over and over and had a serious look on his face so I said "do you want to show momma" he said "yeah!" brought me over to the bottom of the stairs and said "outs" and this is what I saw "wa wa" his most favorite thing in the world in the "time out" spot at the bottom of the stairs! TOO FUNNY!!! I then said that you need to have him say sorry and give him a hug! Which he did!!!! Love it!

So everyone talks about when your kids get a little older every Christmas gets better and better, because they have more fun and enjoy all the fun that is involved with Christmas.....well I think we may have to wait until next year! We went to see Santa at the hospital where donovan was born, which was really nice we didn't have to wait in line, we had to bring something to donate to needy kids and it was smaller and more intimate, not that that made a difference. Donovan cried, i mean screamed the entire time. Terrified of Santa! A professional photographer took the pics, so I will try to upload them once they are up, but when we were getting a picture all three of us, because there was no way Donovan was going to go up there by himself, Santa had his hand on TIm's shoulder and Donovan didn't like that at all and was telling Santa to "dop" which is stop in donovan language! All you can do is laugh. We were there a total of 5 minutes and that was way too long for us all!

Then we went to go cut down a tree, it had snowed a few inches so I thought what a good day to go get a tree. Donovan didn't want to wear his gloves or hat, I made him wear his hat so he screamed for the first 5 minutes. We got a sled, because how fun to have him ride in the sled while we pull him....nope wanted nothing to do with the sled. Fell on the ground countless times and since he pulled his gloves off, he hands were freezing. Wanted me to carry him the entire time. A 2 year old with a huge coat, snow pants and boots is not light! Didn't want Dad to carry him.....just me....lucky me! Took 30 minutes to find the perfect tree.......walking around cold, with a heavy two year old with a runny nose getting all over my coat! These are the pictures I did get!!!! Memories we will never forget right????

3 generations of ornaments for our tree! Donovan didn't want to decorate the tree at all.....he kept saying "eago" which means he wanted to watch Go Diego Go, and when we tried to tell him to look at the tree he said "no free". I guess that is the best part of having kids right? They keep it interesting!!!!

Probably the most adorable thing that Donovan has said to this day is that he calls pumkin's punky's! I mean can he get more adorable. So we went and picked pumkins last weekend, well actually we picked them out then put them back since you can only pay for everything with cash or check.....which I am not sure who carries either anymore so we could not purchase. Which was actually ok since Donovan could have cared less and really at this point $15 for something we were going to throw away in less then a week kind of seemed pointless. So it worked out, he had a blast of course with all the farm animals that were there...bunnies, chickens, geese everytime he sees an animal it is like the first time...I just love it!

Trip to Arizona

Last week we headed west! We went to Arizona, Sun City West to visit, my grandma, Tim's grandma, Tims aunt and uncle and my parents. We were there for a week. We had a great time, very relaxing and jus tnice to hang out with family. Donovan did great on the plane but ready for his own seat next time we travel, he is just getting to big!

IT was so great to see both our grandparents in one trip! One day we went to the zoo with my parents and D had a great time, there was a petting zoo there where you actually got in with the small deer, goats and even turtles. They tried to eat your cloths which Donovan didn't like very much, but it was really cute! We also went swimming a few days and D got really good, the first day he swallowed probably three gallons of water and I spend 2 hours just picking him up from under the water. By the third day he was able to stand up when he would fall over and understood that above water where you can breathe is much better!

Our days are limited for nice weather here in Wisconsin, so we took a trip to the "Family Farm" it is sort of like a petting zoo where you can feed the goats, sheep and Donovan can chase the chickens, and look at ducks and horses, it is really cute! He had a blast!!! Before that we went to Petsmart to look at the puppies, kittens, disgusting rats, fish and birds! And the biggest success of the day, he put his coat on without a HUGE tantrum!

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. This Marco family has been on the move, this is our first weekend home the three of us since June 5th. It has been a really fun, but very busy summer! I think we have traveled to every part of MN and WI!!!

So this weekend our goal was to do absolutly nothing, and that is what we did and loved every minute of it! UNfortuntely Donovan is getting in his two year molars so had a temperature of over 100 all weekend! He kept pointing at the back of his ears and saying "owee eeeas" (eeeas is ears), so we figured the back of his ears hurt from those big teeth coming down! He was a little extra cuddly (which was nice) and what comes with teething is crabbiness, which the D man is never lacking on! He must get that from his dad!!! :) I tried to get some good pics but this is all I got, he kept saying "cheesssse" which was adorable but couldn't manage to pull out a smile!

Ament Family Cabin - Manitowish Waters

Last weekend, we headed up north to Ament's family cabin! It was a blast, the kids had so much fun! Like Amy said before we left "this will not be a vacation, we will be making memories" and that we did, and one thing it was not was a vacation!!! Let me tell you our weekends with the Aments, Billers, and Marco's are not what they used to be; nights in Eau Claire at the Nasty habit stumbling in at bar time and eating a pizza then passing out. No, it was asleep before midnight and ALOT more tears! So much fun to watch our kids all play together. Tim and I are so blessed to have awesome friends that we truly consider family!!! Family Reunion

We had my moms side of the family reunion last weekend in June. Tim met people he has never met before, and I saw family that I haven't seen in years! We spent the weekend at my grandma's and she cooked for us all weekend! 88 years old and making 4 course meals, and breakfast everyday, it was hard to leave. It was great seeing her and hanging out with my parents over the weekend as well! I couldn't download the picture of the fam reunion, but there was 60 people there with a ton of kids! Donovan had a blast checking everything! He could have cared less where we were, he was all over the place!

Donovan is absolutly loving the weather from the time he get up to when he goes to bed, he is pointing outside and wanting to get out there!!!

Our boy is talking, he is saying, dog, ball, ma (which i believe is milk) mo (more) and go! Very exciting! He is saying more things, but we have no idea what he is saying!

I tried to get a few pictures of him, but he does not stop moving, so it is almost impossible!
His new way of testing our parenting skills is now he sits at the table in a booster set, and he likes to put his feet on the table and put food inhis toes and thinks it is pretty funny. So now we have pulled him away from the table and he needs to be away from his food, then he gets pissed and starts rocking in his chair, very dangerous.So then he is done eating. Not sure he is understanding that that is a consequence yet! He sure does keep us on our toes, this little man!

Last weekend was Krissy (sis-in-law) Bachelorette Party in Chicago! I LOVE CHICAGO!!!! It was so much fun, It was themed little black dress. A perfect weekend, with perfect weather! I am so excited for her and Mackey, theya are going to have such an amazing life together! Marco sisters and mom did a great job with games and ideas, it was a really fun night, a trolly took us around to bars!

For mother's day I wanted lilac bushes in our backyard! So since this was our only free wekend for the next two months, tim got everything together this weekend, it was a perfect weekend for it! Donovan was attempting to help by puting sand on Daddy, on the ground, in his mouth and in his hair. It was really cute. He didn't want to leave TIm's side he was busy helping!

Shower weekend

This last weekend was Krissy's shower, which was really fun, she got a lot of great stuff! We are so excited for the wedding to get here!!!!

We spent the weekend with Tim's family which included lots of cousins, it is amazing how much more chaotic things get with 5 little ones!

We tried to get a picture of the boys with Dietz, and Johnny wasn't interested!

this was as close as we got for a group pics of the Cousins, the boys wanted nothing to do with the picture. Angi and I literally had to place them down and run away and try to get a picture, in otehr words these boys do not sit still. they have a different agenda! Seriously this was the best one I got.

Big bad easter bunny!

Happy Easter everyone, we had a great Easter withTim's family. Easter egg hunt for the adults to find eggs with money! It was quite successful for the Marco family! DOnovan could have cared less about the eggs...he just walked and walked and walked!
We went to brunch and Donovan was scared to death of the Easter bunny, checking his back to make sure that big bad easter bunny was no where to be found!
I fondly remember the days of having a stationary child, and going out to eat, our trips out to eat have now become when Donovan is done eating he is ready to walk around and check it all out, which then in turn means mom and dad are done eating, and really it is either we walk around or Donovan sits in his high chair and whines and cries loud enough for everyone to hear so we then take a walk! Toddlers are sooooo fun!

Quick update

Last weekend we went to Waterford to stay with Darcy's parents and got to see little Parker Man, Darcy, Joel, Julie, Brian, Marissa and Blake. Donovan and I got to spend the whole day with Darcy, Jule and Parker. Tim came later that night, and the rest of the crew got there much later.
It was a lot of fun while it lasted....until Tim was having an asthma attack from the cat and Donovan had diarrhea. So needless to say our family left saturday evening! I was feeling great and ready to party but the last thing I wanted was to have Tim take Donovan home and then Tim have to go to urgent care because of his asthma and have Donovan. Anyway we went home...my boys I tell ya!

Here are a few pics while we were there! Didn't get to many of cute little Parker, but let me tell you he is absolutly adorable, and a perfect little baby. Darcyand Joel very lucky, he is laid back and smiley just like mom and dad. It was nice to have some one on one time with him after my "D" went to bed.

We had a really good time and wish we could do it more often, I guess we didn't leave soon enough on Saturday, because after getting the virus Donovan had, myself for Monday and Tuesday, Blake, Joel, and MArissa all got it too. I am just glad that so far so good and little Parker didn't get it! I did enough damage by cutting his finger when trimming his nails....sorry darc! :)

Donovan was making the cutest scrunchy face tonight, anyone who knows me has seen this scrunchy face, it usually happens to me after too many drinks. It is way cuter on Donovan, here is what happened when I steadily pulled out the camera to get a quick picture...

I know, I am such a bad mom, I don't have any pictures, it is almost impossible to keep up with Donovan at this point, so I am not even attempting to take a picture of his back or of him crying!
We went to Madison last weekend and he got some quality time with Aunt Krissy and Grandma Patty, J, and Aunt Michelle. IT was a fun time and Donovan kept us all entertained.

Donovan had his 15 month appointment on monday which went well! He is growing and took his shots like a champ! Those are it now until he is two which is great! His pediatrician was asking me a bunch of questions and we talked about a few of my concerns that Donovan is babbling a ton and has a lot to say but isn't really saying any words yet. He also can follow some directions, but doesn't point to Momma and Dada when asked, doesn't give kisses when asked. With my back ground in Child Development, this concerned me but not too much because he is communicating with us just not quite verbally like we would like. Anyway, long story short, she suggested he gets evalutaed by Birth-3 which is a service in most countys that come into your home and work with kids one on one to help accomplish goals that the case worker and parents create. I have worked with a lot of kids who have been a part of that program and it is a great thing. As a parent obviously this is not exactly what you want for your kid, but we are open. A woman from Luthern Social Services came today and asked me a bunch of questions, he is doing great in gross motor, fine motor, prentend play, sensory , just was low on communication. Next step we have a speech therapist come to our house and do an eval with Donovan to see where he stands on the scale developmentally.

Tim and I are not concerned. Tim didn't talk until he was 2. I talked really early but I pretty much have excelled in everything I have ever done :). No, but really we think Donovan is on his own agenda, and has his own pace, his personality works for him, he is communicating with us, the verbal part isn't quite ther yet. If we do have a speech therapist come in on a regular basis, then he is just gonig to get that extra push that he needs to get those noises to make sense. I want to do what we can now, so that hopefully there isn't much of any struggle when he is in school.

I will keep you all posted on what the Speech therapist says! Hopefully I can get some picture up soon!

Marco/Biller Family Weekend

Last weekend we headed up to Sister Lake near Rhinelander with our good friends from high school, they have a little boy 8 weeks older then Donovan! We had such a great time, very relaxing like it always is! How different our lives are now that we have kids! There wasn't quite as much partying and a lot more time keeping up/chasing two little boys!

The boys had a great time together! There was a little fighting over toys but all and all did really well together. It was fun to watch them, they are both all boy climbing, running, falling, eating, and crying when they didn't get their way. Here are a few pictures, we played outside and Donovan loved the snow, I know I can't believe I haven't taken him out to play in the snow yet this winter. Well he had a great time so we will be fitting a few more of thos days in before the snow is gone. We had a great time and we need to make sure we do that more often! Thanks Joe and Melissa for an awesome weekend up north!

Tim and I took a trip to Faribault, MN to hang out with my college girlfriends and their husbands! IT was an absolute blast! We over did it a little on Friday and some of us were hurtin for quite a while on Saturday, we just don't quite recover like we used to! IT was awesome sleeping in, eating too much food and doing nothing for 48 hours! I was sad to leave, but I knew I had the most adorable 1 year old at home who was excited to see me! Great time girls and boys! I loved every minute of it. Very lucky to have such an awesome group of friends that is so laid back, and funny, it is just so EASY to be friends with you all! My stomach muscles are sore from laughing...anyway love you all very much!!

It has now become virtually impossible to take pictures of Donovan because everytime we pull out the camera he starts crying and wants it. I have never let him play with this in the past and I am not giving into my toddler. So until further notice there will not be very many pictures of my man unless they are from behind and he doesn't see me. Pick your battles right? Well I am not picking this one.

Baby Fin, chillin!

Fin is my great friend Rach's baby, who is now 8 weeks old, she is absolutly adorable and it was great to meet her....her mom looks amazing for having a baby 8 weeks ago! She is ALL GIRL!!!!! I love it!

Then there is Parker man! My great friend Darcy had her baby last week on Wednesday morning and I took a flight up to see the little guy and welcome them home with the proud parents, pround "aunties" and real aunt and grandma! I was so excited to be there! Parker is growing, eating like a little guy should! What a miracle!

It actually really made me want another one real soon!

I know it has been forever, I keep seeing all of my fellow bloggers updating their blogs like good bloggers should, and I has actually been able to sit down long enough to take a breath and not have a one year old cryng because he wants to press every single button on the keyboard! (He is obviously napping!)

Since donovan's birthday party, we have quadrupled our toy inventory, I had to get some sort of organization down, because our house was looking like a toy store! He loves it!

We spent Christmas in California this year with my parents, my brother and his wife andrea! It was so much fun, a little cooler then I would have liked but realized I shouldn't be complaining when we came back to temperatures in the teens. It was so fun to see donovan get excited with presents! He got a cell phone that he loves from Unka Brandon, and Aunt Andrea, my parents spoiled him with tons of gifts we couldn't fit them all in the suitcase on the way home. While we were there D got a double ear infection, I had a hunch something was wrong, he was crabby and we weren't at home, so we went to urgent care and yep, mom was right!!! Leaving my parents was sad, but my mom will be up in February to babysit for a whole weekend so we have some Adult time with friends!

We got back the 30th and the 31st we celebrated with Tim's family! Krissy and Mackey made a surprise appearance, we didn't think they would be able to come then all of the sudden they ran through the door screaming happy new year! It was fun! Donovan got more gifts and cloths and opening presents with J was fun, she just loved it all!

My parents took more pics, because our batteries were running out on the camera so I will post more later!

We had Donovan's birthday party this weekend! It was so much fun, and he had a blast with his Cuz J, he even started saying her name JJ. Really cute! Here are a bunch of pictures not in any order, but you get the idea of the day! We had piggy themed party, with Pig everything, we even had ham for dinner! He loved his cupcake, he actually threw up a little when he was done eating! He doesn't know when to stop, just like his daddy!

We went and saw Santa today at Bishops Bay! Donovan wasn't as afraid I thought he would be but he wasn't crazy about being on his lap! We at least got one pic!

The best part of the day was that he is now on all solids and human food, and I don't think I have ever seen him as happy as he was at brunch!

We had Donovan's pic's taken for his year pictures, I can not believe he will be 1 in less then two weeks! The time has gone by so fast! We have had the same women take D's pictures since he was born, we took, 1 month pics, 6 month pics and 12 month pics, they have progressively gotten more difficult to keep his attention and keep him in one spot! Jen does an amazing job, and she captures his personality perfectly! Some are below! I can't show you all of them, because some will come if X-mas cards! Two weeks ago, we went to Chicago to visit Tim's sis Krissy and her soon to be husband Mackey! It was a perfect Chicago day and they have the most amazing apartment/condo! Very jealous! Anyway we hung out and had some drinks, watch Donovan completly get into everything he wasn't supposed to! IT was fun, we rarely get that one on one time with Kris and Mackey since we are usually doing whole family stuff (which of course we love too!)! It was great to hang out with them, we had a lot of fun!

So Donovan has been waving "bye bye" for about a month now, but everytime I try to get him on video he either stares at me like he has no idea what I am talking about or he starts crying because he wants the video camera! So you will just have to trust me! It is adorable though, he uses both arms in the wave, too cute!

He is also dancing or attempting to. Whenever, commercials, tv or the ipod is on and music is playing he starts waving, which I believe is a dance move! He usually tries to climb up your leg so you hold his hands then he starts bouncing, I have a video below! His dance moves are a combination of Tim and Mine explosive dance talent! ( He has no chance!) He is getting to be such a big boy and I can't believe he turns 1 in a month! Where has the time gone!

Halloween Pig & Dog!

Donovan was a puppy and a Pig for halloween, A pig well because he is one and that is what we call him. A puppy cause it was a gift from Grandma Lytle and it was nice and warm for Trick or Treating! He looked absolutly adorable and didn't mind the costumes at all, He even kept the hats on.

We had quite a crew trick or treating. Our nieces Jaelynn (tinkerbell) and Alex (minnie Mouse), our nephew Johnny (lion) and good friends daughter Avery (duck). It was a lot of fun and we actually got a picture of all of them!

First Haircut!

Donovan got his first haircut on Friday! He did absoultly great! No crying and was having a blast in the car that he sat in while getting his hair cut! He looks like such a little boy with his styled hair. I think I am going to keep it longer because I love the curl, but now there is a little more style to it!

Although the weekend ended with sadness, it started out with great happiness! We welcome Andrea to our family, we are so lucky to have you, thank you for making my brother so happy! We had to put our dog Payton down this morning. He started having seizures yesterday morning and we couldn't break the cycle, he had them every time after the Valium ran out. He went on a Valium drip last night and we said he this doesn't break the cycle then it was time. It didn't break it.

He was an amazing dog who made us laugh everyday, we loved him so much and rearranged our life anyway we could just for him. We had three great years with him and we will never forget him. We have been through a lot with him, which made us want to fight for him even more. We thank god for making it an easier decision for us to put him out of his pain. I still can't believe he is gone, and it will take some adjusting, he had a BIG presence in our house and will not be the same without him. Payton is now up in heaven with Jackson Marco, Harley Lytle, who are both very annoyed that he is there! :)

So Donovan's obessision is to play with the stero system dials and change all sorts of things that I have no idea how to get back to making the stero work with the TV, so I decided to put the coffee table in front of the TV so he doesn't get to it to change anything. Note: We have a thousand toys for Donovan to play with but he insists on playing with anything but those toys. Well it didn't take to long for him to figure out how to get past the road block.

He is crusing now, holding on to furniture and walking along with standing up without holding on to anything. I think we will have a walker before he turns one. He is moving non stop, I am constently redirecting him. He has figured out how to open cupboards and drawers. Oh boy!!!

We were introduced to Audri Anne last weekend, what a little Princess! She is so small, I can't even believe Donovan was that size at one point. It actually makes me think I could do it all again! ( I know I could) She is a good baby, and J loves her little sister! J loved her Aunt Gina and Uncle Timmy this weekend, she was giving us hugs and telling us she loved us all day Saturday! Still getting used to the idea of having a little sister around!!!

Goldfish explosion

We made a trip to Madison, last weekend for a Wedding, and Donovan can last about 1 hour or so in the car with out getting bored and fussy. Which is pretty good for him. He was starting to fuss, so giving him anything other then a toy to play with seems to go over pretty well.

He loves bags and things that make a crunchy noise. I had a bag of goldfish for him to play with and chew on since he is teething. I didn't think he could puncture it until I turned around and saw this.

I had to get a closer look. He was in heaven! So was payton!

Labor Day

We haven't been all home together for a whole weekend in over a month! We had three whole days of Marco family time! It was the best weekend we have had all summer! We got a new camera, so it got a lot of use! The weather was absolutely perfect!

What a fun weekend we had. we flew into Minneapolis Thursday night and hung out with the Biller family, whom of which we owe them A Lot for letting us live at their house this last weekend, it wouldn't have been such a smooth weekend without them! THANK YOU BILLERS! I will be sure to upload some pic's of Cameron Biller and Donovan soon, they are about 8 weeks apart, and had a lot of fun together! It was really fun to see them interact!

Please keep in mind, that I don't have a good camera, so all of these pictures are from other people's blogs (since I am terrible and broke my camera). So I don't have any from the shower, I am still waiting to hopfully get some!

We had a great night hanging out and catching up. Friday we went to see my Aunt's and my mom, my mom and I ran some errands and caught up! Friday night Darcy's Baby shower, which was a blast, she got some great baby stuff and she is so excited, she was truly glowing! Later that night we met the guys over at Darcy's house. Saturday morning, the girls threw a shower for Rachel, I couldn't make it, but I was there in spirit she throws such amazing showers, she deserved one from us!

Saturday morning, i threw a shower for my beautiful soon to be sister in law! About 20 people showed up and I was lucky to have 20 women there to keep my son occupied, because being a mom and being a hostess is not an easy thing to do!

Saturday afternoon, my girlfriends came over to see Donovan! I didn't get to see much of them that weekend, but they definately made the effort to come see me, which was appreciated!

Saturday night Bachelorette Party, whoo! I am tired just talking about it all! Games at Brandon and Andrea's then a night downtown MSP! It has changed a lot since I was in college (or maybe I have) but I am glad to see that beautiful town is getting a lot of bar action! It was fun! Early night for me, I still needed to be a mom in the morning.

Sunday was relaxing with Andrea and my mom and the Biller's! All and all a great weekend that went way to fast. I guess that is what happens with all of your friends are in the Cities along with your brother and his wife to be! Maybe we should just move there!!!

Donovan has decided that sitting and crawling is not good enough anymore standing and pulling himslef up is way more fun. He pulls himself up onto just about anything he can grab onto including pant legs, screen doors, tables, you name it he tries it.

Payton is Donovan's new obsession and Payton is not too excited about the obsessee. Donovan doesn't quite understand the idea of being gentle and that we pet Payton, not grab his fur out in chunks. Payton runs away whenever he sees the monster coming. He is taking trips outside on a more regular basis.

It is amazing how there is NO fear of Payton at all. He barks at him and tries to play and Donovan isn't even phased by the 140 lbs beast! Until he starts knocking him over, then I think it may change.

8 months and always a mess!

I am not sure why my son always looks like he just rolled in dirt and is soaking wet, and has a orange nose. He ends up naked by 2:00 or so, all pictures with cloths on are before that. I was going through all of his 0-3 month cloths and they are all so clean maybe a few stains from explosive diapers, but spotless. Trip To Florida

We traveled down to Florida this last weekend, for our nephew and Tim's godson "Ja's" baptism! It was a great trip but way too short! We hung out with the Lazaridis family, played with the kids, ate great meals and talked.

Donovan did pretty good on the plane, screamed for the firs 15-20 minutes then wore himself out and slept most of the plane ride. I am sure the people sitting next to us were happy about that. He was teething and his top two teeth poked through on the last day. He was teething last trip we took too! (Like his earrings??) He was in toy heaven!!! They had so many great toys!! I think he put about every single one in his mouth!!!

Johnny, is about 7 weeks younger then D and it was really fun to see them interact. I wasn't sure they were even going to know that eachother existed but they did. they were interested in a lot of the same toys to put in their mouths! They are too very cute boys! Alex who is 2 1/2 is talking up a storm and is such a girl!! It was so fun to see how much she has grown up!!

A Spaghetti Event!

Donovan tried Spaghetti for the first time yesterday and as you can see, HE LOVED IT! He was wearing most of it, and was very sad when it was done. Out little Italian man! Paytone expecially liked it, because he got to lick up all the stuff that didn't make it in Donovan's mouth! He is now starting to try to take food out of my mouth when I am eating! I think Tim would do the same thing if he could!

I hope we are ready for this! He is now on the move and my life of setting him on the floor and running upstairs quick is officially over. God he is growing fast! He has been rocking back and forth and attempting the crawling thing for the past few weeks. He actually has been pulling himself up from a sitting position already which has got me scared to death. He is not exactly being the safest little guy. I picked him up from the baby sitters today and she told me he was the messiest baby she had ever seen. Exactly why we call him PIG. His hair was sticky and sticking straight up and he shirt was soaked. All that happens before 10:00 am. He is all boy that is for sure, with no fear!

Trip to the Zoo with Cousin J

We went to the Milwaukee Zoo this weekend, with JJ and Michelle and Grandma Marco!

It was a lot of fun Donovan could have cared less. The best part was the strap in the stroller that he sucked on the entire time at the zoo. Maybe next year, he will care a little more!

He had a ton of fun with Jaelynn! She likes him, but I think she like him better when he just laid there and didn't take her toys!

Payton Turns 3

Yes, our big baby turned 3 July 15th!!! Very exciting! He wasn't feeling well the morning of his birthday but in dog years he turned 21 so, we are not surprised, he had a few too many shots the night before! :) Doesn't he look thrilled.

Donovan had his six month pictures taken last week and they turned out great! I can't believe how much he has grown! He has got quite the personality and is so smiley! He loves to get his pitcure taken. The same woman who took his one month pictures took his sixth month and there is not one picture I didn't like. My walls will be wallpapered with Donovan's pictures! She is absolutely amazing! These are just a few!
