Trip, Teething, and Mother's Day!

We had quite an eventful week, last Thursday we headed to California to see Grandma and Grandpa Lytle, my brother and his finance Andrea were there as well. It was a lot of fun and the weather was absolutly perfect! I am not sure what my mom is complaining about. I have a feeling it has nothing to do with the weather and more that she is so far away. I agree with her it really sucks. I don't think Donovan was put down the whole weekend, he got a lot of love! It was a great weekend. He also really enjoyed be naked if you can't tell!

Donovan started getting two teeth in on the bottom row! What a big boy! He did really well handling it as long as we gave him teething tablets. He was a little fussy, but to be expecting, I couldn't imagine, how having teetch push through those baby gums would feel! He did great on the plane, didn't make much noise other and actually slept a little! The whole trip he slept through the night as well. I haven't gotten that much sleep since before Donovan was born. It was nice to have babysitters the whole weekend. This is a picture of the result of teething, wet shirt from drool, you can just tell he is uncomfertable! Still adorable though!

My brother, Andrea, Tim and I actually went out and got sushi which was REALLY good! It was fun to hang out with my brother and his future wife, we can't wait for the wedding! They make a great couple, and you can tell they love each other very much, we are lucky to have Andrea as part of our family!

Sunday was of course Mother's Day and it was perfect! Tim and Donovan got me a beautiful necklace with Donovan's birthstone which I love. Nice work Dad! It was especially nice to be able to spend it with my mom, which has thought me well! I hope all you mom's out there were spoiled like I was!
