Head up high

Although Donovan has been able to hold his head what seems like since he was born, he can now hold it up in his exer saucer! Very exciting step in an infants life. :)

He is just growing every day, and smiling more, laughing, screaming (this time is now out of joy), and sleeping great! Our little guy is becoming such a little boy!

Marco Family gets over the Flu!

We just had the weekend from hell! I came down with the 24 hour stomach flu Friday about 5:30 pm, and was up the entire night puking! I slept most of the day on Saturday then about 5:00 pm on Saturday Tim came down with the disease! Luckily I was on the mend, to take over with Donovan! I have to say, I handled it all a little better then Daddy! Daddy thought he was going to die! Good thing we weren't sick all at the same time, or Donovan would have been out of luck! So far so good with him, he hasn't gotten sick yet. But I am thinking he might have had it last week when I was changing his diaper every hour! He wasn't puking though, so it makes me wonder if it is heading his way! God, I hope not because it was brutal!

Last weekend, it was a boys weekend and mom's first night out! My best friend Darcy came down and took me out on the town! We did a poker run and went to 7 bars with a group of people on a Partridge family bus! I ended up having the winning hand and came home with $120! Can't beat that, and I wasn't too hung over!

The boys did great! I wasn't worried at all! Didn't even call once to check in! What a great dad Tim is!
Above are some pictures of Donovan at 16 weeks! I just can't believe our little man is growing so fast! He is sleeping like a champ, which makes mom and dad very happy, and him more happy as well!

Donovan's First Fight! He Lost!

Donovan's sitter called me the other day at work, pretty upset. Getting a call at work from a babysitter is always a scary thing. She said that Donovan is ok, but he has been scratched pretty bad from a little girl that she also babysits. Connie (babysitter) was crying, and I told her not to worry and that these things are going to happen. I have worked with kids and I know that you can't watch them every second. She was very upset which I think reassured me that this wasn't going to happen again! Our little bruiser! Above are his battle wounds, his first fight and he got beat up by a girl. Hopefully next time he can fight back!
